This collection consists of the professional papers of George Arceneaux, Jr. from his career as an attorney and a federal judge. This includes correspondence, reports, notes, blueprints, and other materials. The majority of the collection consists of Judge Arceneaux's criminal and civil court judicial work files, with other portions relating to his work as an attorney (including the Louisiana tidelands boundary dispute) and the construction of the federal court house in Houma, Louisiana.

It contains a ceremonial program of LeBlanc's induction into the Louisiana Supreme Court that includes a photocopy of a newspaper clipping and a photograph. The collection also includes certificates that document LeBlanc's career as a public official, his wife's career as an educator, and their son's (Sam A. LeBlanc Jr.) career as an attorney and notary. This collection consists of a map showing the townships and natural resources in Acadia Parish, Louisiana that was designed to attract emigrants in the late 1800s; a 1904 map of the Alluvial Valley of the Mississippi River from the head of the St. Francis Basin to the Gulf of Mexico; a map showing Ollie Canal and railways to New Orleans markets in 1913; and a handwritten index relating to information about the Civil War and veterans of the Confederacy.
